Guardians of the Light
Guild Testimonials

Curious to know how our guild members feel about our guild? Below are testimonials from current Guardians of the Light about us and why they stick with us after joining.

"The Guardians of the Light is what most mature players look for in joining a Raiding RP Guild. The GotL's best qualities is that they are effective, friendly, and fun. We have a sey raid schedule where we try and accomodate as many as we can. In doing so we are not pretentious or elitest when dealing with new players. Because we all remember that we were new once too. Most importantly, we encourage all our players to have fun and help others have fun. The GotL has created a culture steeped in compassion, courtesy, but above all comradery. We like to think we are all friends here and choose to behave as such.

All that being said, the Guardians are not for everyone - we play this game to have a good time and enjoy each others company. We are NOT hardcore raiders nor are we Hardcore PVP and we don't want to be (all though we can be when necessary). We are not interested in the baggage or drama that is associated with it.

To conclude, after being in the GotL for over a year now, I have to say it's been the most rewarding guild I've had the privledge to be in."

"This is the best guild that I have ever been in since I started playing WoW when Burning Crusade was released. The Guardians have everything that I look for in the game; casual raiding, fun roleplaying events, and occasional PvP events. Everyone is so friendly and great to play with!"

"Though I've played WoW for about a year and a half now, I am still new to a lot of the aspects of it. Having only one top level toon, and only reaching 80 a few months ago, I had no idea what to do once I reached that point. I had never been on a raid, and felt kinda intimidated by them, escpecially going into them with the role of being a tank. Ely, Ketch, and the Guardians of the Light accepted me upon the request of a personal friend, and have been very helpful.

With work, a child, and a life, I do not have the time to be a power game, or raid more than once or twice a week, so the casual atmosphere is great. There is no pressure and we do a little bit of everything; raid, PvP, roleplay, and just enjot the game. Which is exactly how it should be, cause it's just a game. Thanks to Ketch and Ely for being fair and patient leaders with a great understanding of WoW, and I wish them, and the guild, all the best in the future."
